Welcome!
My new blog. I’m new to bento, but have been doing it for about a year, I guess. I usually pack one for my husband (DH) about twice a week. Last week, my 3 year old daughter (DD) started pre-school, so I pack one for her now, too. I tend to do the more functional bentos than the cutesy ones. Occasionally, those pop in when I am inspired.

Wow! I love the name of your blog. It’s the name of my flickr account where I’ve been posting all my bento pics since May 2007! Come have a look when you have a chance.

I got the name from a blog, someone said a little girl said it to her, and I just loved it.

Yes, it was my pastor’s daughter here in Japan who said that my son’s bento looked sugoi when I brought it to a church BBQ! “Sugoi” in Japanese means something like “awesome”!
